Make Disciples
Jesus' final command was not a suggestion — it was a mission. Discover what it means to make disciples and why it matters for every believer.
What It Means to Make Disciples
To make disciples is to help others learn who Jesus is, follow His teachings, and grow in their relationship with God. It is not reserved for pastors or missionaries — Jesus gave this command to all who follow Him.
Discipleship happens in everyday life: in conversations, in serving others, in sharing your story, and in walking alongside someone as they take their own steps in faith.
Why It Matters
The Great Commission in Matthew 28 is the clearest statement of the Church's purpose. Every generation of believers is called to pass the faith on to the next.
When you make disciples, you are participating in the very mission Jesus entrusted to His followers — a mission that has carried the gospel across centuries and continents.
Discipleship also deepens your own faith. Teaching and walking with others forces you to understand what you believe and why, and to live it out with integrity.
